Advanced Condition Monitoring
Electrical and Power Engineering|5 days|Classroom or live online
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into condition monitoring, transformer maintenance and the judgement calls that sit outside the SANS wiring code. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical safety procedure, cable fault location and circuit breaker operation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve electrical safety procedure within their own organisation, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Spot where cable fault location is failing before it becomes a finding
- Review circuit breaker operation and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain electrical fault analysis to someone who does not do the work
