Advanced Corrective and Preventive Action

5 days|Delivered on request

This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into proficiency testing, non-conformance management and the judgement calls that sit outside SANAS accreditation requirements. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training. Delegates leave able to work confidently with sample handling and chain of custody, technical record keeping and supplier qualification in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Take ownership of sample handling and chain of custody rather than escalating it, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
  • Bring technical record keeping into line with current good practice
  • Make a decision about supplier qualification without waiting for a specialist
  • Put accreditation preparation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
