Advanced Electrical Safety
5 days|Delivered on request
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into electrical safety procedure, lockout and tagout and the judgement calls that sit outside recognised arc flash assessment practice. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with condition monitoring, cable fault location and insulation testing in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about condition monitoring without waiting for a specialist, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Improve cable fault location within their own organisation
- Spot where insulation testing is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put electrical fault analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
