Advanced Ergonomics in the Workplace
Health, Safety and Environment|5 days|Classroom or live online
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into occupational hygiene, emergency preparedness and the judgement calls that sit outside ISO 45001. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match. Delegates leave able to work confidently with legal appointments and duties, contractor safety management and risk assessment in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put legal appointments and duties on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against ISO 45001
- Explain contractor safety management to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where risk assessment is failing before it becomes a finding
- Make a decision about waste management without waiting for a specialist
