Advanced Measurement Uncertainty

5 days|Delivered on request

This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into document control, equipment calibration and the judgement calls that sit outside ISO 17025. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training. Delegates leave able to work confidently with reagent management, root cause analysis and sample handling and chain of custody in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where reagent management is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against ISO 17025
  • Make a decision about root cause analysis without waiting for a specialist
  • Explain sample handling and chain of custody to someone who does not do the work
  • Review method validation and say plainly whether it is working
