Advanced Motor Control Centres
Electrical and Power Engineering|5 days|Classroom or live online
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into motor control centres, electrical safety procedure and the judgement calls that sit outside IEC standards. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical fault analysis, cable fault location and protection relays in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review electrical fault analysis and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IEC standards
- Explain cable fault location to someone who does not do the work
- Bring protection relays into line with current good practice
- Spot where condition monitoring is failing before it becomes a finding
