Advanced Occupational Health and Safety
5 days|Delivered on request
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into safety management systems, environmental impact assessment and the judgement calls that sit outside the Construction Regulations. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk assessment, working at height and root cause analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain risk assessment to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Spot where working at height is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put root cause analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about incident investigation without waiting for a specialist
