Advanced Root Cause Analysis
Laboratory and Quality Management|5 days|Classroom or live online
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into proficiency testing, laboratory design and the judgement calls that sit outside ISO 17025. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does. Delegates leave able to work confidently with reagent management, equipment calibration and measurement uncertainty in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about reagent management without waiting for a specialist, measured against ISO 17025
- Put equipment calibration on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Review measurement uncertainty and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain technical record keeping to someone who does not do the work
