Arc Flash Safety Reporting and Analytics

Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online

Arc Flash Safety Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through standby generation and variable speed drives and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with insulation testing, transformer maintenance and lockout and tagout in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Bring insulation testing into line with current good practice, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Take ownership of transformer maintenance rather than escalating it
  • Improve lockout and tagout within their own organisation
  • Spot where substation operation is failing before it becomes a finding
