Arc Flash Safety
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This Arc Flash Safety programme gives delegates a working command of transformer maintenance and arc flash assessment, grounded in the SANS wiring code. Organisations invest here because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with variable speed drives, protection relays and earthing and bonding in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring variable speed drives into line with current good practice, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Take ownership of protection relays rather than escalating it
- Review earthing and bonding and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve motor control centres within their own organisation
