Artificial Intelligence in Battery and UPS Systems

Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online

This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through protection relays and switchgear maintenance as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with insulation testing, lockout and tagout and electrical fault analysis in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve insulation testing within their own organisation, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
  • Bring lockout and tagout into line with current good practice
  • Spot where electrical fault analysis is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review standby generation and say plainly whether it is working
