Artificial Intelligence in Condition Monitoring

Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online

This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through lockout and tagout and electrical safety procedure as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with insulation testing, standby generation and electrical fault analysis in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put insulation testing on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
  • Make a decision about standby generation without waiting for a specialist
  • Review electrical fault analysis and say plainly whether it is working
  • Improve switchgear maintenance within their own organisation
