Artificial Intelligence in Earthing and Bonding
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through switchgear maintenance and electrical fault analysis as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with transformer maintenance, circuit breaker operation and lockout and tagout in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about transformer maintenance without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Explain circuit breaker operation to someone who does not do the work
- Review lockout and tagout and say plainly whether it is working
- Bring variable speed drives into line with current good practice
