Artificial Intelligence in Electrical Maintenance Planning
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through protection relays and cable fault location as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with motor control centres, variable speed drives and electrical safety procedure in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review motor control centres and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IEC standards
- Put variable speed drives on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about electrical safety procedure without waiting for a specialist
- Explain transformer maintenance to someone who does not do the work
