Artificial Intelligence in High Voltage Operation
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through switchgear maintenance and electrical safety procedure as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with motor control centres, standby generation and lockout and tagout in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring motor control centres into line with current good practice, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Spot where standby generation is failing before it becomes a finding
- Take ownership of lockout and tagout rather than escalating it
- Put insulation testing on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
