Artificial Intelligence in Instrumentation and Control
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through protection relays and lockout and tagout as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with arc flash assessment, switchgear maintenance and motor control centres in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about arc flash assessment without waiting for a specialist, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Spot where switchgear maintenance is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve motor control centres within their own organisation
- Explain power factor correction to someone who does not do the work
