Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy Integration
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through protection relays and variable speed drives as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with power factor correction, transformer maintenance and load flow analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve power factor correction within their own organisation, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Explain transformer maintenance to someone who does not do the work
- Review load flow analysis and say plainly whether it is working
- Bring standby generation into line with current good practice
