Artificial Intelligence in Transformer Maintenance
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through switchgear maintenance and cable fault location as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with protection relays, condition monitoring and load flow analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review protection relays and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IEC standards
- Make a decision about condition monitoring without waiting for a specialist
- Explain load flow analysis to someone who does not do the work
- Bring lockout and tagout into line with current good practice
