Artificial Intelligence in Variable Speed Drives
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through electrical fault analysis and lockout and tagout as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with transformer maintenance, protection relays and standby generation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about transformer maintenance without waiting for a specialist, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Review protection relays and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve standby generation within their own organisation
- Take ownership of condition monitoring rather than escalating it
