Cable Fault Location Masterclass
Electrical and Power Engineering|5 days|Classroom or live online
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into switchgear maintenance, protection relays and the judgement calls that sit outside recognised arc flash assessment practice. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical fault analysis, substation operation and variable speed drives in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review electrical fault analysis and say plainly whether it is working, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Improve substation operation within their own organisation
- Take ownership of variable speed drives rather than escalating it
- Explain motor control centres to someone who does not do the work
