Cable Fault Location
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This Cable Fault Location programme gives delegates a working command of cable fault location and power factor correction, grounded in the SANS wiring code. Organisations invest here because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with variable speed drives, arc flash assessment and circuit breaker operation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put variable speed drives on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Spot where arc flash assessment is failing before it becomes a finding
- Improve circuit breaker operation within their own organisation
- Bring load flow analysis into line with current good practice
