Capital Budgeting for Non-Specialists
Finance and Accounting|2 days|Classroom or live online
Capital Budgeting for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through cost allocation and internal controls without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because reporting standards keep moving and finance teams carry the consequence of getting them wrong, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with financial modelling, revenue recognition and treasury operations in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review financial modelling and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IFRS for SMEs
- Improve revenue recognition within their own organisation
- Spot where treasury operations is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put financial instruments on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
