Change Control for Non-Specialists
Project Management|2 days|Classroom or live online
Change Control for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through project closure and quality assurance without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with portfolio prioritisation, critical path analysis and scheduling in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about portfolio prioritisation without waiting for a specialist, measured against earned value management
- Review critical path analysis and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve scheduling within their own organisation
- Take ownership of change control rather than escalating it
