Climate and Carbon Reporting for Non-Specialists
Health, Safety and Environment|2 days|Classroom or live online
Climate and Carbon Reporting for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through legal appointments and duties and contractor safety management without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with permit to work systems, waste management and safety management systems in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about permit to work systems without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Spot where waste management is failing before it becomes a finding
- Explain safety management systems to someone who does not do the work
- Improve confined space entry within their own organisation
