Climate and Carbon Reporting: Tools and Techniques
Health, Safety and Environment|3 days|Classroom or live online
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through permit to work systems and emergency preparedness on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with hazard identification, legal appointments and duties and risk assessment in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review hazard identification and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Bring legal appointments and duties into line with current good practice
- Put risk assessment on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about toolbox talks without waiting for a specialist
