Combined Assurance in the Public Sector
Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online
Combined Assurance in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including risk assessment methodology, risk appetite and tolerance and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with regulatory reporting, combined assurance and scenario analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve regulatory reporting within their own organisation, measured against COSO ERM
- Bring combined assurance into line with current good practice
- Take ownership of scenario analysis rather than escalating it
- Spot where business continuity planning is failing before it becomes a finding
