Community Relations Auditing and Assurance
Communications and Public Relations|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether campaign planning and content planning are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because an organisation's reputation is now formed faster than its communications function can respond. Delegates leave able to work confidently with crisis communication, communication auditing and spokesperson training in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where crisis communication is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against recognised crisis communication protocols
- Review communication auditing and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about spokesperson training without waiting for a specialist
- Bring issues management into line with current good practice
