Compliance Management in the Public Sector
Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online
Compliance Management in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including control design, scenario analysis and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because compliance obligations have multiplied faster than compliance capacity, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with compliance monitoring, key risk indicators and risk appetite and tolerance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put compliance monitoring on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against ISO 31000
- Make a decision about key risk indicators without waiting for a specialist
- Review risk appetite and tolerance and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of fraud risk management rather than escalating it
