Condition Monitoring in the Public Sector
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
Condition Monitoring in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including cable fault location, variable speed drives and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with power factor correction, arc flash assessment and condition monitoring in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve power factor correction within their own organisation, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Put arc flash assessment on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring condition monitoring into line with current good practice
- Spot where standby generation is failing before it becomes a finding
