Condition Monitoring Reporting and Analytics

Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online

Condition Monitoring Reporting and Analytics focuses on the measurement layer: what to count, what it means and how to present it. Delegates work through earthing and bonding and cable fault location and the reporting built on top of them. The reporting layer matters because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with motor control centres, power factor correction and standby generation in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where motor control centres is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the SANS wiring code
  • Bring power factor correction into line with current good practice
  • Review standby generation and say plainly whether it is working
  • Explain variable speed drives to someone who does not do the work
