Confined Space Safety in the Public Sector
Health, Safety and Environment|3 days|Classroom or live online
Confined Space Safety in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including waste management, personal protective equipment and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with confined space entry, hazard identification and root cause analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review confined space entry and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 14001
- Make a decision about hazard identification without waiting for a specialist
- Spot where root cause analysis is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring safety management systems into line with current good practice
