Confined Space Safety Masterclass
5 days|Delivered on request
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into occupational hygiene, safety culture and the judgement calls that sit outside the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause. Delegates leave able to work confidently with emergency preparedness, legal appointments and duties and environmental impact assessment in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain emergency preparedness to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Put legal appointments and duties on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about environmental impact assessment without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of safety management systems rather than escalating it
