Construction Safety for Managers
3 days|Delivered on request
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers personal protective equipment and working at height from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with legal appointments and duties, toolbox talks and waste management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where legal appointments and duties is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Explain toolbox talks to someone who does not do the work
- Bring waste management into line with current good practice
- Review hazard identification and say plainly whether it is working
