Construction Safety: Tools and Techniques

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through root cause analysis and emergency preparedness on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with waste management, safety auditing and contractor safety management in their own organisation.

- Explain waste management to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Review safety auditing and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of contractor safety management rather than escalating it
