Contractor Safety Management in the Public Sector
Health, Safety and Environment|3 days|Classroom or live online
Contractor Safety Management in the Public Sector takes the discipline and works it through the constraints of this operating context, including safety auditing, occupational hygiene and the compliance obligations that come with it. The sector framing is necessary because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and generic training rarely survives contact with the local rules. Delegates leave able to work confidently with hazard identification, contractor safety management and waste management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about hazard identification without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Improve contractor safety management within their own organisation
- Explain waste management to someone who does not do the work
- Review safety management systems and say plainly whether it is working
