Corrective and Preventive Action Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether equipment calibration and laboratory safety are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does. Delegates leave able to work confidently with internal auditing, method validation and sample handling and chain of custody in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put internal auditing on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
  • Spot where method validation is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review sample handling and chain of custody and say plainly whether it is working
  • Bring corrective and preventive action into line with current good practice
