Data Integrity for Managers
Laboratory and Quality Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers document control and equipment calibration from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with method validation, corrective and preventive action and non-conformance management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put method validation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
- Explain corrective and preventive action to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where non-conformance management is failing before it becomes a finding
- Take ownership of supplier qualification rather than escalating it
