Data Storytelling for Executives for Non-Specialists
Data and Business Intelligence|5 days|Classroom or live online
Data Storytelling for Executives for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through data quality management and DAX and calculated measures without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because reporting effort scales badly when the underlying model is wrong, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with forecasting techniques, statistical fundamentals and data warehouse concepts in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring forecasting techniques into line with current good practice, measured against dimensional modelling practice
- Explain statistical fundamentals to someone who does not do the work
- Put data warehouse concepts on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Improve report automation within their own organisation
