Digital Transformation in Category Management
Procurement and Supply Chain|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through e-procurement systems and contract negotiation as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because category spend is one of the few remaining places to find margin without cutting headcount. Delegates leave able to work confidently with supplier relationship management, demand planning and bid adjudication in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve supplier relationship management within their own organisation, measured against the PFMA and MFMA supply chain regulations
- Make a decision about demand planning without waiting for a specialist
- Put bid adjudication on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring logistics management into line with current good practice
