Digital Transformation in Community Development Planning
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through service delivery planning and records management as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on. Delegates leave able to work confidently with audit action planning, consequence management and ethics in the public service in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain audit action planning to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Batho Pele principles
- Review consequence management and say plainly whether it is working
- Put ethics in the public service on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where intergovernmental relations is failing before it becomes a finding
