Digital Transformation in Consequence Management
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through revenue management and municipal budgeting as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget. Delegates leave able to work confidently with service delivery planning, audit action planning and ethics in the public service in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review service delivery planning and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Municipal Systems Act
- Spot where audit action planning is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put ethics in the public service on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of records management rather than escalating it
