Digital Transformation in Electrical Fault Finding
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through lockout and tagout and arc flash assessment as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical fault analysis, earthing and bonding and standby generation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve electrical fault analysis within their own organisation, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Explain earthing and bonding to someone who does not do the work
- Take ownership of standby generation rather than escalating it
- Put condition monitoring on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
