Digital Transformation in Electrical Installation Standards
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through electrical fault analysis and substation operation as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with insulation testing, variable speed drives and standby generation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review insulation testing and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Spot where variable speed drives is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring standby generation into line with current good practice
- Explain condition monitoring to someone who does not do the work
