Digital Transformation in Electrical Maintenance Planning
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through power factor correction and condition monitoring as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with lockout and tagout, arc flash assessment and electrical fault analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where lockout and tagout is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
- Make a decision about arc flash assessment without waiting for a specialist
- Improve electrical fault analysis within their own organisation
- Review substation operation and say plainly whether it is working
