This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through toolbox talks and working at height as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match. Delegates leave able to work confidently with incident investigation, confined space entry and legal appointments and duties in their own organisation.

- Review incident investigation and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Explain confined space entry to someone who does not do the work
- Put legal appointments and duties on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of safety auditing rather than escalating it
