Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through lockout and tagout and earthing and bonding as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cable fault location, variable speed drives and switchgear maintenance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where cable fault location is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against IEC standards
- Review variable speed drives and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve switchgear maintenance within their own organisation
- Bring circuit breaker operation into line with current good practice
