Digital Transformation in Protection Systems
Electrical and Power Engineering|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through electrical safety procedure and insulation testing as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with motor control centres, lockout and tagout and load flow analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve motor control centres within their own organisation, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Review lockout and tagout and say plainly whether it is working
- Put load flow analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about switchgear maintenance without waiting for a specialist
