Disciplinary Procedure for Non-Specialists
Human Resources|2 days|Classroom or live online
Disciplinary Procedure for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through remuneration and benefits and psychometric assessment without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because workforce planning has moved from an administrative task to a board level concern, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with grievance handling, employment equity reporting and onboarding design in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about grievance handling without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Employment Equity Act
- Improve employment equity reporting within their own organisation
- Review onboarding design and say plainly whether it is working
- Put employee relations on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
