This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into cable fault location, transformer maintenance and the judgement calls that sit outside the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with switchgear maintenance, earthing and bonding and electrical safety procedure in their own organisation.
