Enterprise Risk Management for Managers
Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers regulatory reporting and risk assessment methodology from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because compliance obligations have multiplied faster than compliance capacity, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with control design, scenario analysis and business continuity planning in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review control design and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Basel framework
- Spot where scenario analysis is failing before it becomes a finding
- Put business continuity planning on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of risk identification rather than escalating it
